Interviewer- Good Morning Tulsa, Oklahoma! Today we have a speical guest here, let us all welcome... Cherry Valance! we are here today to talk about the on going fight between the to rivarlrys the greasers and the socs.
Cherry- Good Morning! Thank you so so much for having me on your show, Danny
Interviewer- your welcome so how are you doing today?
Cherry- Well, i am great! how are you?
Interviewer- i am felling fantastic! Alright lets get started with the first question.
Cherry- Yea lets get started!
Interviewer- Why do they call you Cherry?
Cherry- My friends all call me cherry because my hair is red and it goes with Sherry.
interviewer- How do you feel about the socs and the greasers fighting?
Cherry- Well, i can't stand fights because its no use to anybody. No matter what, greasers will be always greasers and socs always will be socs.
Interviewer- Your right its like the greasers are family and the socs are a family. alright next question. What do you say about that kid, the greaser, killing Bob?
Cherry- I always think killing is wrong, but Bob went out and looking for trouble when he was drunk that night. I sure he asked for it, so I can't say he didn't deserve it. But, i think killing im was a little to harsh. I don't think Jonny mean't to kill him, but, hes just a boy not more than 18. and to die at such a young age is terraible.
Interviewer- Oh, i see i guess i agree with you that it was wrong because yes, he was just a kid at oly 18. and it was a little harsh to kill him even though Jonny i'm sure didn't mean to.Why do you like being a spy for the greasers?
Cherry- I just want to help them because Pony is a good kid and I think I should repay him for being that way.
Interviewer- Very good, next question. Are you suprised that Pony is a greaser by how smart he is?
Cherry- Yes, i do because he doesn't look the type to be a greaser, and he is too polite and kind.
Interviewer- Did you enjoy Pony's company at the movie?
Cherry- Yes, I was scared at first because I thought he would be like Dally, but once he opened up he turned out to be a well-mannered kid.
Interviewer- Were you embarrassed because you were friends with he greasers or the rivalry side?
Cherry- Well, i wasn't really embarrassed by Pony but, i was afraid my friends would think i was like a traiter and would wounder why i was talking to the greaser whos friend killed my boyfriend Bob.
Interviewer- How did you feel about Johnny dieing in the hospital?
Cherry- Well, i feel really bad but, i cant go see him because he killed my boyfriend, and Bob was something different when he was drunk he was a mean kid, but when he wasn't he was very delightful boy. But, he was very heroic to go into that burning church to save the children.
